Anyone passing by the south coast of Sri Lanka would be a fool to pass this little gem by. Run by a total star, mr Ratner. Great food, i could be stranded there for months and it would still be a delight to see fish curry rice turning up at the table, or maybe prawn curry rice, dunno, tough call. And great Staff, (spelling here are guessed at best) respect to Umbali pic below, who would never tire of trying to fatten me up “eat eat thin mister, eating good”, brin always on hand for a game of carrom, uncle for his deft calculator skills, the chefs and all the other guys keeping the place in order. By the time this is published, i’m guessing that Umbali is lying down in a darkened room somewhere, with a bottle of Arrack recovering from the onslaught he’s has just endured.
