Afrirampo oxford arts factory sydney

Right I’m going to have to come back to Melbourne, the Great Ocean Road and Spritualized. This gig was killer. After sweating all day in 40 degree plus heat (i’ll never tire of dropping temperatures in) in swept a southerly change to cool things off a bit, making activities such as catching trains and walking just about tolerable again.

Oxford Arts Factory, nice little venue for this ATP sideshow, though nearly caught frost bite from the aircon. It’s the total opposite of England where you freeze on your way to the gig and cook inside the venue, give me sweaty gigs everytime. Afrirampo responsible for one of my fave all time gigs at the luminaire a few years back didn’t disappoint. Always put on a killer super energised show, crowd loved it. Dead Meadow did their sludge rock thing and Fuck buttons made their real nice noise. Oh my, bring on cockatoo island at the weekend for the main event. more pics here
