In the Shadow of the Moon in the light of the Moon

show of the moon in the light of the moon

Finally got round to seeing In the Shadow of the Moon  at free moonlight screening put on as part of the Sydney Festival in the Sydney Olympic Park. I know my fingers not exactly on the pulse here, the film probably came out a couple of years ago, but great to see this incredible documentary with a crescent moon hanging right above the screen. Some great moments including listening to astronaut James Lovell commander of Apollo 13 describing how he would hide the earth and its 3 billion population behind his thumb. Star of the show form me was the Michael Collins the guy who went to the moon with Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin, but didn’t step on the moon, full of insight and good humour and anything but the unfortunate character many believed he would be.
